I work with clients to help them find a way through a world that can feel challenging and overwhelming.
If you are reading this, you may be feeling unhappy with aspects of your life and looking for help and support. You might be stuck, worried, anxious or depressed. You may feel lonely, trapped or frightened. Maybe you are uncomfortable with the amount you are drinking or using. Perhaps you have lost someone or something dear to you.
Whatever you are feeling, I would love to help.
I am a BACP accredited counsellor with extensive experience of working with adults across a range of mental health issues, including addiction.
I offer:
- Face-to-face counselling at therapy rooms in Richmond town centre, convenient for bus, tube and train links.
- Online counselling using Zoom.
- Each session lasts 50 minutes and costs £80.
If you think counselling could help you, please phone or email me (see contact me tab) and we can arrange an initial (online) appointment to see how we can work together.
Why use a counsellor?
Sometimes it’s hard to speak to friends or family about difficult or personal issues. It can help to speak to a counsellor who will really listen, who won’t judge you or tell you what to do. It can help you find clarity to make your own decisions, in a supportive and confidential environment.
What happens at our first session?
The first session is free of charge. It lasts around 30-40 mins and it always takes place online via Zoom.
It allows both of us to see if we are a good fit and if we will work together well. It allows me to understand if I am the right therapist to work with you and it allows you to see if you want to work with me.
I ask questions about your current situation and some family history. I ask what brings you to therapy and what support you feel you need.
If we decide to work together, our next (fee-paying) session will take place either face-to-face or online via Zoom.
